Applications are now open for investment-ready tech entrepreneurs to pitch at RiverPitch 2018 December

Applications are now open for the next RiverPitch to be held in a combined event ( Startup Invest ) with RCL Accelerator #BNE4  Demo Day. Investment ready tech startups and scaleups are asked to apply for the opportunity to pitch to a pre-screened group of Australia’s most well-known investors.

Applicants are asked to submit their application, which includes a short form and a 90-second video, via the F6S online platform. Submissions will be reviewed by a committee of RiverPitch members, who will invite the top 10 – 15 applicants for an interview at River CityLabs. Up to six finalists will then be selected, who will then attend a series of practice sessions in the lead-up to the December event.

Following on from the success of RiverPitch in April where a live investment took place during a pitch, RiverPitch seeks to change the way investors and members of the start-up mobile/web/internet community might meet and form mutually beneficial relationships. It differentiates itself from Angel Investment groups by having no formal requirements for how the investment may occur. Merely, as Steve Baxter RiverPitch Founder is fond of saying, "it’s to bring two parties together in a social setting to potentially have a million-dollar conversation.”

Placing Brisbane at the forefront of a technology boom in Australia, RiverPitch seeks to change the way investing is done in Brisbane. RiverPitch is supported by a community of investors formed to help the startup sector access funding. RiverPitch aims to provide a different approach to capital funding and de-formalise the search for the next investment.
