River City Labs wants you to launch a startup in 54 hours
River City Labs will bring together industry mentors, experts, designers, creators and developers for 54 hours of model creation, pitching and market validation at Startup Weekend Brisbane 2019.
The goal of Startup Weekend is to inspire, connect and encourage attendees to launch a Startup in 54 hours, with the purpose of less talk and more action.
Peta Ellis CEO at River City Labs said " We encourage everyone to take part in Startup Weekend who wants to launch a startup or lend their skill to help others in their startup.
Startup Weekend Brisbane is one of Brisbane’s most anticipated event in the startup ecosystem. Last year we welcomed over 100 attendees, 90 participants, 34 ideas pitched with 13 teams formed. This year we predict the event will help even more like-minded people to come together to work on their ideas”.
River City Labs has over the years, held Startup Weekends including the popular Global Startup Weekend Women. More than 300 attendees have gathered at River City Labs to take part in three days of business creation.
Some of Brisbane’s most successful businesses have launched from a Startup Weekend event in Queensland, including; Arkose Labs, Power Wells won the Logan Startup Weekend and Orange Sky Laundry.
